Leonard has been a change agent for athletes, C-suite executives, and major corporations for the last 2 decades.  He is an inspiring keynote speaker and seasoned coach, weaving his personal experiences his client engagements. Leonard was selected in the third round of the 1992 NFL Draft, and played eight years of professional football for the Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings, and the Carolina Panthers.  He is currently an Executive Director for the NFL, an Ambassador for the NFL, and an NFL Transitions Coach.  Leonard is also a performance coach for NASCAR, helping drivers and pit crews master the art of communication and listening in high-pressure situations.  In addition to his consulting and advisory work with the NFL and NASCAR, Leonard has served as a personal and executive coach for fortune 100 & 500 companies for nearly 20 years.  A sought-after presenter and engaging keynote speaker, Leonard’s gift is his ability to inspire the masses to reach their full potential in every aspect of their lives.

Leonard played eight years in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings, and the Carolina Panthers after being selected in the third round of the 1992 NFL Draft. He is currently an Executive Director for the NFL, an Ambassador for the NFL, and an NFL Transitions Coach, where he serves current and former players with resources and support as they transition into and out of professional football. Leonard is also a performance coach for NASCAR, helping drivers and pit crews master the art of communication and listening in high-pressure situations. In addition to his consulting and advisory work with the NFL and NASCAR, Leonard has also served as a personal and executive coach for fortune 100 & 500 companies for nearly 20 years. He acted along Cuba Gooding, Jr. in the 2003 movie “Radio”, and has been featured on the television series “One Tree Hill”. Leonard has also been featured on BET and the World Network for his powerful message. His book, “Beyond the Locker Room: Developing Your Game Plan for Life’s Transitions” was published in 2015.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Leonard holds a degree in both Business Administration and Communications. He has also earned certifications from the International Coaching Federation, The Robert Hartman Institute in Axiology, Managing Millennials and The Human Element.

Originally from Georgia, Leonard currently resides with his family in Charlotte, North Carolina.
