Deborah Straka is a Senior Consultant at FMG Leading, a team of advisors that help clients build world-class organizations by aligning business strategy with human capital performance. Implementing leadership development solutions that link individual effectiveness to organizational performance has been the focus of Deborah’s work for the past 2 decades. She has extensive expertise in executive coaching, career management, organizational effectiveness and healthcare operations.

Drawing from a deep understanding of human behavior and organizational structure, Deborah coaches leaders from mid-level to C-level management. Through her coaching process and style, executives enhance their ability to think strategically, provide vision and direction, accelerate change and exceed business expectations. Deborah’s coaching acumen coupled with her attention to detail and ability to facilitate are key elements she brings to clients that enable systematic sustainable change. In addition to individual executive coaching, Deborah facilitates learning programs on topics ranging from: building collaboration and partnerships, management and leadership skills, effective team building, and group coaching.

Deborah’s unique experience spans the healthcare industry, including coaching and consulting for community hospitals, academic medical centers and integrated delivery systems. Deborah utilizes her healthcare operations background to assure clients are focused, energized and achieve outcomes.

Deborah’s professional career has encompassed diverse and challenging assignments, including roles as a Healthcare Executive for a large tertiary care academic medical center and as a senior consultant with two global consulting firms leading major culture and organizational change. While with First Consulting Group (FCG) Deborah led the redesign and implementation of clinical and management systems, created organizational development processes to support new systems, and coached the senior team to more effectively lead a large change management initiative. While at the HayGroup, Deborah’s practice included large-scale change management, leadership development strategy, and executive coaching for top team performance. She was a member of the National Healthcare Leadership Practice with accountability to enhance quality and growth in the industry sector.
