Cathy serves as a consultant, coach and facilitator for world-leading companies, delivering high-impact learning programs and coaching executives on communications, leadership, and presentation effectiveness.

Cathy's responsibilities include facilitating management workshops and meetings, conducting leadership and sales training, employee interviews, and coaching senior executives on improving communication, self-awareness, and presentation skills. Her pragmatic approach builds executive presence, and often involves deep discovery and direct, challenging questions.

Cathy graduated cum laude from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology.

EXPERIENCE

Cathy serves as a Director at FMG Leading, a team of advisors that help executives align business strategy with human capital strategy to produce measurable results. Cathy has over 30 years of experience in management consulting, executive coaching, and leadership and sales training.

Cathy began working in the development of managers and leaders in 1985, as a Project Manager with the Forum Corporation of Boston, Massachusetts, one of the country’s leading firms in training and development. At Forum, she developed into a top trainer in the topic areas of leadership, sales and customer-focused quality. After Forum, Cathy served as Associate Dean of the Corporate University for DaVita, the largest independent provider of kidney dialysis services in the US. During her tenure there, she was responsible for overseeing the operations, content and faculty of the DaVita University Academy Program, a 2-day, culture building experience delivered to over 15,000 employees. In addition, Cathy coached DaVita’s senior leaders on communication and presentation skills and was responsible for coaching all presenters at the company’s annual meetings.

Currently, Cathy serves as a consultant, coach and facilitator for world-leading companies and continues to coach executives on their development, including communications, leadership, and presentation skills effectiveness. Her clients include Microsoft, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, American Express, Disney, Merck Pharmaceuticals, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, and Surgical Care Affiliates.

ADDITIONAL PRACTICE AREAS

Cathy has served as Chairman of the Board for The Kidney Trust, which was formed to increase awareness of kidney disease through public education and testing programs. She was also the President for the North Tustin Chapter of the National Charity League, an organization formed to foster mother-daughter relationships through community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. In addition, Cathy has served as a trainer for Positive Coaching Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to making athletics a positive force in youths’ lives.

ACADEMIC AFFILIATION

Cathy graduated cum laude from Tufts University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in social psychology. She is also a certified Integral Coach.

PERSONAL

Originally from New York City, Cathy now divides her time between Montana and Southern California. She enjoys running, sharing a home-cooked meal with friends, and spending time with her family.
