FMG Leading Celebrates 30 Years
San Diego, CA – October 03, 2014 – FMG Leading, a consulting and coaching firm that creates breakthrough performance at the intersection of strategy and human capital performance, celebrated its 30th Anniversary on October 3, 2014 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego. The event, attended by key clients, friends, and FMG Leading partners, some dating back to the 1980’s, recognized the history and progression of the firm, while highlighting the new branding, direction and focus that will carry the company into the future.
The evening began with a cocktail reception at the pool terrace, where FMG Leading Chairman and CEO Dr. Foster Mobley introduced a video that took guests on a journey highlighting the progression of the firm from its inception to today. FMG Leading was founded in 1984 as Organizational Technologies, a private practice designed around Dr. Mobley’s skill and interest in training and change consulting. Notable clients in the early years included St. Joseph Health System, Citibank, and United Technologies. Over the next 20 years, an expertise in serving Healthcare, Finance, and Professional Services industries further emerged, featuring clients such as Cedars-Sinai Hospital, DaVita, Deloitte, and Moses Cone Health System. In addition, FMG Leading developed a special partnership with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) athletic department that resulted in program-turnarounds and 2 national championships.
Today, FMG Leading serves clients from a broad range of industries, from healthcare, private equity, hospitality, energy, finance, entertainment and beyond. The firm's current client list includes: UC San Diego Health System, Turner Broadcasting, Chevron, Hackensack Medical Center, CNN, Center for Disease Control, truTV, and many more. During his remarks, Dr. Mobley also took the opportunity to recognize and thank several key clients who were in attendance and who were pivotal in the success and longevity of the firm.
After Dr. Mobley’s remarks, President and COO Matt Brubaker introduced the FMG Leading team that was in attendance, and spoke about the future growth and focus of the firm. Matt spoke briefly about the transition in brand identity from the Foster Mobley Group to FMG Leading, which recognizes the capabilities and expertise of the firm’s growing team of professionals while representing FMG Leading’s expanded capacity to serve clients. Matt further detailed FMG Leading’s mission today: creating breakthrough results by improving the quality and effectiveness of executive leaders. This clarity, combined with the firm’s expertise in cultural transformation, provides clients with integrated solutions designed to create sustainable growth and organizational performance.
Following the opening remarks, guests were treated to a 5-course dinner and live entertainment under the San Diego stars, capping an elegant celebration of FMG Leading’s 30th year.
