Managing Principal

Jennifer came to FMG Leading from the healthcare sector, where she served for more than a decade as an executive in a leading healthcare company, driving corporate strategy, conducting market research, and overseeing leadership development initiatives.

In her current role as Managing Principal, Jennifer focuses on meeting the human capital needs of FMG Leading’s growing portfolio of healthcare and private equity clients, while consulting on large-scale change and leadership development projects.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Economics from Pomona College of the Claremont Colleges in Southern California, and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management and Strategic Planning at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

EXPERIENCE

Jennifer serves as Managing Principal for FMG Leading, where she focuses on meeting the Human Capital needs of our healthcare and private equity clients. Jennifer came to FMG Leading from the health care sector, where she spent over 10 years as an executive responsible for corporate strategy, market research and business development, and supported leadership development and governance.

Jennifer focuses primarily on large-scale change, team development, and strategic planning for FMG Leading’s healthcare and PE clients. She partners with organizations to drive transformational growth and sustainable change, with a focus on leadership quality, strategic alignment and execution. As an executive coach and facilitator, Jennifer’s clients draw on her expertise to deepen self-awareness, leverage strengths and translate goals into action.

Previously, Jennifer worked at St. Joseph Health System as SVP Organizational Effectiveness and Strategic Planning, and as a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting serving the health care and insurance industries. She started her career in the investment banking industry.

Jennifer’s clients have included industry-leading organizations such as UC San Diego Health System, Sound Physicians, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Surgical Care Affiliates, and Catholic Health Initiatives.

ADDITIONAL PRACTICE AREAS

Jennifer has served on the Board of Directors of numerous non-profit organizations, with a particular interest in the work of governance and community organizations, working to enhance strategic positioning and governance effectiveness. She recently served as Board Chair for FrontPorch Communities, which operates retirement communities and senior housing, and as an emeritus board member for Hope Builders, an organization that provides job training and life skills to at-risk Latino youth. Jennifer is passionate about continuous learning, health and wellness, and building community relationships.

Jennifer earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management and Strategic Planning from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree from Pomona College of the Claremont Colleges in Southern California, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Economics. Jennifer is also a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development, a professional group of the American Hospital Association.

Jennifer lives in San Diego with her husband, two sons, and their dog.
