A results-focused leader and coach with a background in team performance and strategic change, TJ brings over a decade of military leadership and consulting experience.

Before re-joining FMG Leading in his current role, TJ served as the Chief of Staff with CareCentrix, a healthcare services organization with a mission to make the home the center of care. While originally with FMG Leading, TJ served as a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach, partnering with a range of notable clients including Kemper, Surgical Care Affiliates, Sonesta Hotels International, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

TJ earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the United States Naval Academy. He is completing his capstone research and will earn his Master’s in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania in Spring 2022, with focus areas in leading and managing through change.

EXPERIENCE

TJ is Principal, Client Engagement at FMG Leading, a team of advisors, executive coaches and consultants who create world-class organizations at the intersection of humanity and high-performance. A results-focused leader and coach with a background in team performance and strategic change, TJ brings over a decade of military leadership and consulting experience.

Before re-joining FMG Leading in his current role, TJ served as the Chief of Staff with CareCentrix, a healthcare services organization with a mission to make the home the center of care.

Before joining CareCentrix, TJ served as a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach with FMG Leading, where he partnered with a range of notable clients including Kemper, Surgical Care Affiliates, Sonesta Hotels International, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

TJ has also served as an Organizational Transformation Consultant with Deloitte Consulting, where he worked with government and public sector clients to develop and implement strategic change and innovation solutions.

Prior to Deloitte Consulting, TJ served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy for seven years. During his four years on sea duty he led engineering divisions ranging in size from eleven to forty five personnel and deployed to the South Pacific and South America. Following sea duty he served as the lead naval science instructor at the U.S. Marine Corps’ Expeditionary Warfare School and was one of nine officers throughout the Navy selected to be a member of the Navy’s first Amphibious Warfare Tactics Instructor Course.

ACADEMIC AFFILIATION

TJ earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and was a four-year letterman on the men’s basketball team. He is completing his capstone research and will earn his Master’s in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania in Spring 2022, with focus areas in leading and managing through change.

TJ lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and two young daughters.
