He has over 30 years of experience, and an ongoing commitment to working with organizations to effectively implement enterprise change, while helping leaders make their workplaces more satisfying and productive. Jerry earned a Master’s degree in Adult Education from The University of Toronto, a Bachelor’s degree in Education from The University of Western Ontario, and a degree in Arts and Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.

EXPERIENCE

Jerry is a Senior Consultant with FMG Leading, a group of coaches, researchers and educators that help senior executives measure, maximize, and de-risk the performance of their human capital and corporate culture. Jerry specializes in helping leaders of organizations shape their culture and increase employee engagement through enhancing their effectiveness. He has over 30 years of experience, and an ongoing commitment to working with organizations to effectively implement enterprise change, while helping leaders make their workplaces more satisfying and productive. Jerry has worked closely with various companies across Asia, Europe and North America, to launch and support enterprise-wide change initiatives. His assignments have ranged from preparing and coaching senior leaders to assume more senior positions, to equipping leaders with the capabilities to shape organizational climate to improve performance. Jerry additionally brings deep experience and expertise in working with senior leaders to build performance cultures, increase employee engagement, enhance cross organization collaboration and develop high performing teams. Before launching his coaching and executive consulting practice, Jerry was the head of learning and talent management for Wang computer Europe. He also held senior learning and organization-development positions at Pepsi Canada, and Canada Trust. Jerry has developed leaders and teams across a broad range of industries, including pharmaceutical, retail, hospitality, education, public sector, financial services, health care, fitness, insurance, food service, and utility operations. His diverse client list includes global brands such as Ascension Health, Barclays, BP, Coke, Citi, CEMEX, Daimler-Freightliner, Franklin Templeton, Genetech, Mass Mutual, Merck, Novartis, and TimeWarner.

ADDITIONAL PRACTICE AREAS

In addition to his work with FMG Leading, Jerry is a guest instructor in the Strategic Leadership Program at University of Toronto. He has also volunteered as a change mentor for schools through an initiative called The Learning Partnership. His passion for learning is also pursued in the context of his volunteer efforts at national and local church levels, and as a hockey coach.

ACADEMIC AFFILIATION

Jerry earned a Master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Western Ontario, and a degree in Arts and Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is also a graduate of Gestalt Institute International Organization & Systems Development (IOSD) program, involving participants from around the globe.

PERSONAL

Jerry lives in Toronto, Canada, with his wife of 44 years. They have two grown children. In his free time, Jerry enjoys reading, cooking, entertaining friends, and playing hockey and golf.
