A seasoned Human Resources professional with deep expertise across a broad spectrum of HR and industries, Jen’s career includes experience working with a range of organizations, from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.
Before joining FMG Leading, Jen served as Senior Director of Human Resources for Vail Resorts, and earlier in her career as Director of Human Resources for Starbucks Coffee Company. In her current role as Director, Jen helps clients build HR capability and effectiveness, with a focus on leader development, performance management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisition integration, and succession planning.
Jen earned a B.A. in Business and Human Resources from Washington State University, and a Master’s degree in Management from Antioch University.

A seasoned Human Resources professional with deep expertise across a broad spectrum of HR and industries, she is known as a trusted advisor and business partner who develops actionable HR strategies that align with the business goals of the organization. Jen’s career includes experience working with a range of organizations, from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.
Before joining FMG Leading, Jen served as Senior Director of Human Resources for Vail Resorts, where she led an HR team supporting 6 states and 11 resorts. In her role at Vail, she led the design and implementation of foundational HR processes creating scalability, compliance, efficiency and continuous improvements across all resorts, including acquisition diligence and integration.
Prior to Vail Resorts, she worked at Starbucks Coffee Company. During her 11-year tenure, she held various HR leadership positions supporting retail, supply chain, store design and development business units. She also served 4 years as Director, HR Operations leading and implementing strategy for Starbucks U.S. Human Resource Operations.
Jen is a firm believer in the vital role HR and leadership teams play in building strong, effective company cultures that accelerate business and employee performance. She’s passionate about challenging the status quo and coaching leaders and teams to achieve new levels of performance, deepening self-awareness and effectiveness in the process.
In her current role as a Director with FMG Leading, Jen helps clients build HR capability and organizational effectiveness, with a focus on coaching, leader development, strategic planning and team performance.
Jen’s commitment to her community can be seen in her past board experience for the Northwest Outward Bound School, and her current role on the Colorado Outward Bound School Board.

Jen earned a B.A. in Business and Human Resources from Washington State University, and a Master’s degree in Management from Antioch University. She completed her iPEC Executive Coaching Certification in May 2018.
An avid skier and road cyclist, Jen lives with her husband and son near Denver, Colorado. She grew up living both in the U.S. and abroad as the daughter of an Air Force pilot; this experience fostered a lifelong passion for travel and the outdoors.
