Throughout her educational and professional history, Andi has designed, delivered and analyzed surveys and assessments that drive data-based decisions.  

She has a talent for communicating insights, interpreting results, building consensus and turning data into measurable actions. Andi also brings deep experience in the design and implementation of new employee programs that accelerate onboarding into organizations.  She has introduced systems, processes and best-practices to formalize ongoing work for teams of varying sizes and responsibilities. Her research will be featured in the upcoming book “Emerging Investigations in Artificial Life and Research Development”, scheduled for publication in 2018.

Andi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University at Chanel Islands, and her Master of Science degree in Human Resources from Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.

EXPERIENCE

Andrea “Andi” Summers is a Consulting Coordinator at FMG Leading, a premier advisory firm that accelerates business results at the intersection of strategy and human capital performance. She brings nearly a decade of experience in various industries including retail, food & beverage, recreation, and entertainment. Before joining FMG Leading, Andi served as the Learning and Development Coordinator for Deluxe Entertainment, where she introduced metrics and partnered on the design, implementation, and evaluation of enterprise initiatives. Her efforts focused on leadership development, cultural alignment with strategy, and largescale change efforts. Prior to her role at Deluxe Entertainment, Andi co-created and managed a leadership enrichment program for the local park district in Simi Valley, CA, engaging youth in programs she crafted to empower teens to impact their community. Her work helped the district youth build and maintain relationships with peers and adults, and explore their potential as future leaders and agents of change.

Andi’s clients describe her both as an expert facilitator and a skilled communicator who can effectively relate to individuals at all organizational levels.

ADDITIONAL PRACTICE AREAS

Andi serves as the Executive Director of the Board for My Kaleidoscope Project in Ventura County, CA. In her role, she acts as a key contributor to produced content and programs, and as advisor to the President.

PUBLICATIONS

Andi’s research in the area of virtual collaboration has been published in the International Journal of eCollaboration in 2016. Her research will be featured in the upcoming book “Emerging Investigations in Artificial Life and Research Development”, scheduled for publication in 2018.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Andi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University at Chanel Islands, and her Master of Science degree in Human Resources from Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management, where she was honored as a Values-Driven Leader/Scholar, graduating at the top of her class.

PERSONAL

Andi lives in Philadelphia, PA where she spends her free time with her husband and two cats. She enjoys reading, yoga, meditation, sewing, and attending concerts.
