Brubaker to President and Chief Operating Officer. The firm, based in San Diego and Philadelphia, also announced that Dr. Foster Mobley, FMG Leading’s founder, will continue in the role of Chairman and CEO.
Matt joined FMG Leading in 2008, during which time he has served as the firm’s Managing Principal and COO. FMG Leading has more than tripled in size under Matt’s leadership, while adding key talent, infrastructure, and operating platforms to effectively support the firm’s rapidly expanding client portfolio. Matt’s leadership in the coming years will focus on developing FMG Leading’s eminence in the healthcare sector, as well as expanding the practice in several other industries, including finance, services, energy, and technology.
Matt has studied and coached high-performing leaders and teams in a variety of capacities throughout his 20-year professional career. His expertise in C-Level leader development, conflict resolution, and large-scale organizational assessment and change over the last two decades uniquely qualifies him to head FMG Leading in his new role. Matt earned his Master of Arts degree in Dispute Resolution at the University of Massachusetts, and is nearing completion of his Doctorate in Organizational Change at Pepperdine University. His dissertation examines the practice of apology as a leadership behavior, and its impact on organizational performance.
