FMG Leading Acquires InnSense Leadership

Leadership Development, Culture Design, and Organizational Change Firm Adds Expertise in Luxury Hospitality and Service Excellence.

Newport Beach, CA -  FMG Leading, a Southern California-based coaching and consulting Firm specializing in leadership development, culture design, and organizational change, announced today that it has acquired InnSense Leadership LLC, an Orlando, Florida-based luxury hospitality and customer service consulting firm.

The acquisition strengthens FMG Leading’s existing expertise in healthcare during a time of unprecedented change.  By adding capability in world-class customer service, with a luxury-hotel pedigree, FMG Leading has effectively prepared itself to serve the changing needs of the healthcare industry, while at the same time opening doors to additional engagements in the hospitality sector.

InnSense Leadership Founder, Steve Cokkinias, a 17-year hotel industry veteran, spent 12 years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company prior to joining FMG Leading as Executive Director of Client Experience.  In this pivotal new role, Cokkinias will oversee the firm's client acquisition strategy, branding/marketing, and the development of the company’s service training programs.  “I am thrilled to join FMG Leading during an exciting period of growth for the company. This move allows me to apply my hospitality experience towards the creation of new learning programs designed to help our clients capture the ‘essence of serving’ and consistently deliver world-class customer experiences,” Cokkinias said.  “Additionally in this new role, I will oversee business development strategies and the evolution of the firm’s brand positioning, as our list of products and services continues to evolve,” he added. 

Prior to FMG Leading, Cokkinias held various leadership positions at several luxury hotels in the USA, Caribbean and Asia, most recently from 2003-2012 as the General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).  Among the many accolades awarded to the hotel, Cokkinias cites the recognition as “National Best Employer” four times consecutively as the achievement that best defines his tenure.
