A people-focused leader, Kim has a unique blend of foreign policy, national security, and leadership development experience. Before joining FMG Leading, Kim spent more than 20 years in the federal government. She most recently served at the US Embassy in Amman, Jordan as a Foreign Service officer with the US Department of State. Kim also served as a CIA officer, where she prepared assessments of world leaders and decisionmakers to help senior policymakers in the White House, Congress, and in the military understand and deal with their foreign counterparts. She draws on her unique background to build relationships across nationalities, organizations, and cultures and to lead transformational change initiatives. Kim earned a B.A. in International Studies from Austin College and an M.A. in History from George Mason University.
